The eRibbon heating mats are constructed from flat amorphous metal ribbons covered by two layers of polyethylene electric insulation.

The ribbons cover approximately 30% of the heating mat enabling it to provide a high level of even heat at low working temperatures.

It offers a perfect solution for heating beneath carpet and wood floor surfaces.

The range of eRibbon heating mat sizes enables the user to easily cover at least 80% of almost every room floor.

Note: To achieve the best results we recommend, as a rule, to cover at least 75% of the floor area. This includes 5 to 25 cm margins from the walls to the heating mats.

All eRibbon heating mats fit directly under timber or parquet flooring and under wall-to-wall carpets.

The mats are available in a range of sizes from 1- 3 square metres. Each mat is 0.5m or 1.0m wide. For example, a 5 square metre mat is 0.5m wide and 10m long.

The heat output of this product can be regulated using a controller. Generally only one controller is needed, however, for larger areas one controller per 23m2 should be used.

There is a choice of two controllers for this product - eStat 761 and eStat 762 programmable thermostat and the eStat 760 manual thermostat.

Applications

The low working temperature allows direct installation under timber, parquet or carpet.
